A trip to Mr Barker's house to collect native seedlings for our new native garden.

Wiki:
In term 2, Mrs Brown got together a group of 16 year 4 to 8 students. We are the Enviroschools group for 2010! This group will keep going during the year.
Mrs Brown has got us to first review the vision map created last year which has our plans and ideas for the future. From our goal setting from the vision map, we have decided to create a native garden, continue to develop the vegetable garden, look at reduce, recyling and reusing at school and explore composting options, create some cultural art, investigate the possibility to have an adventure garden and hens and pigs at school. Our first mission was to replant the edible gardens with winter vegetables.
Our gardens are thriving and we have sold produce at the office.  We have also planted 1 manderine tree and 8 fejioa trees! More YUM! YUM!
